Essential Safety Tips for Boating with Children
|
Boating with kids? Put safety first! No matter how confident those little boaters are in the water, a properly fitted life jacket is non-negotiable. It's the ultimate lifesaver and ensures little ones stay afloat when the unexpected happens. In addition to wearing life jackets, the following are a few other important safety measures to keep kids safe:
|
- Equip the boat with essential safety equipment including life rings, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and emergency communication devices. Ensure children know how to use these items and understand emergency procedures.
- Kids should always be supervised by a responsible adult while on board (and while participating in water activities). Make sure they stay seated in designated seating areas while the boat is in motion and avoid leaning over the sides.
- Protect kids from the sun's harmful rays by applying sunscreen regularly, providing shade with umbrellas or awnings, and ensuring they wear hats and sunglasses.
- Keep kids hydrated by providing plenty of water, especially on hot days. Avoid sugary drinks, as they can contribute to dehydration.

We could brag about our catamarans, but we’d rather let you hear from our incredible family of World Cat owners. Meet Brian and Sandra Lancaster, proud owners of a WorldCat 235CC. In fact, the 235CC is the very first boat they’ve ever had! They primarily operate their World Cat on the intercoastal waterways, but also take it out on the open water. Brian loves how it cuts through waves, and Sandra loves to relax upfront with her friends while the guys fish from the back. Join the Lancasters as they share their love of their 235CC and its unparalleled versatility for both relaxation and fishing.

Cat'n Around Owners Events
|
Once you own a World Cat, you are part of an extraordinary family—a family that comes together year after year for our owners’ events. That's because World Cat events aren't just about the vessels; they're about human connection.
Imagine the sun glinting off the waves, the gentle sound of water against the hulls, and a community of World Cat enthusiasts coming together, where they build lifelong friendships that often sail far beyond the shores of the event itself.
Our gatherings are meant for water lovers, where shared experiences create instant connections. Conversations may start with the technicalities of different vessels, the best routes to sail, or the thrill of navigating rough waters, but they naturally transition into deeper discussions about life's adventures, shared sea stories, and a mutual appreciation for the freedom and tranquility of the open water.
For the World Cat family, our owner’s events are something special to mark on the calendar and look forward to all year long. See you there!

A Better Boating Experience
|
If you’re a boater, you know all about the pounding, slapping, exhausting ride of a monohull boat. With a World Cat power catamaran, you get a smoother, more stable ride. That means no more physical abuse – for you or your family and friends. You can stay on the water longer, and go so much farther. You’ll come back with more energy, and fewer bruises. And, along with that comfort, you’ll have the confidence to head out in conditions that keep other boaters on shore. Don’t take our word for it, take a sea trial and experience the World Cat advantages for yourself!
